That's a really cool feature, and it sucks when people think it's a simple noise knob. Run a 100hz sine wav through H-Delay going into Voxengo SPAN (free), on Hi-Res mode and you'll see that each of the 5 settings (including off) has wildly different harmonics. I hear people all the time thinking the analog knob is just "noise." Not true at all. That's part of it being an "analog" delay. Something most people don't know about H-Delay is - even with "analog" turned off, it's adding a lot of harmonics to the signal that passes through it.
